Melinda Gates talks global heath, women in tech and investing more into women of color.

Not only is Melinda Gates the wife of Billionaire Bill Gates. She's a mother of three, a businesswomen, and the Co-chair of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation- the world’s largest Philanthropic foundation. In her interview with CNBC’s Becky Quick, Gates first discusses the foundations Goalkeepers event, that was held in New York City September 25 & 26. At the event there where guest speakers from all over the world with musical performances.
Women Entrepreneurs
Gates points out how she founded a company, Pivotal Ventures in 2015, based in Seattle. During an interview with fortune Gates says she’s a believer in women in business, “I am a big believer in disruptive innovation, but it’s been incredibly disappointing to watch how few women-led businesses are getting funded,” Gates told Fortune. “Ultimately, if we want more innovation and better products, we’ve got to put more money behind women and minorities. That wasn’t happening, so I decided to step in and see what I could do to help a little bit.”
Exactly, she's been a boss before her husband.
I hope she gets the credit she deserves for all the good she is doing. I'm sure her achievements get euphemised because she is married to Bill Gates, but that shouldn't matter if she's doing good.
